Knife Care

All carbon steel/ non stainless alloy steel knives require care and maintenance to protect them from corrosion. Blade oils and waxes are an effective way to prevent corrosion and preserve wooden handle materials. Apply to both the blade and handle periodically.

Knife Cleaning

Cleaning should be done with warm water and dish soap only. NEVER put your knife in a dishwasher! This will cause rusting and can damage certain handle materials. Use a soft sponge to clean with. After washing, fully dry and apply blade oil/ wax to both the blade and handle.

Warranty

All knives are covered under warranty for defects in materials and construction.

Your knife is designed as a puropse driven, high performance cutting tool. Miss-use and or abuse can cause damage to the cutting edge, or in extreme cases, total blade breakage. Instances of miss-use are not covered under warranty.

Please contact me directly with any questions regarding proper use and limitations of your knife.

Sharpening

All knives come with free lifetime sharpening. (purchaser covers shipping both ways.)

If you choose to sharpen your own knife, I recommend using a diamond plated stone/ traditional whetstone and leather strop combination. Powerd sharpeners can remove too much material and significantly shorten the lifespan of the cutting edge. Use ceramic or diamond honing rods only.
