This vest bowie has been forged from tile-welded mosaic Damascus that took nearly 20 hours of forging to complete. The steel has been deeply acid-etched and darkened to reveal the alternating layers of the Damascus pattern. The guard is made from a single tile of the same mosaic Damascus. it has been etched and heat colored to a deep purple/ blue hue. The handle is sculpted from a piece of stabilized boxelder burl that has a vibrance of natural colors. This blade has a high level of finish but is built to function the same as a hard-working knife.
